Narrative
On 10.08.2025 at approximately 6:40 pm, an fhr night operator found a leak on the 3" trunk line that connects a portion of the south manifold pressure safety valve system to the main relief header and relief tank. The relief line was isolated, and a clamp was installed. The clamp and the relief line were inspected and normal operations resumed by 7:00 pm. Remediation and cleanup activities were completed following the repair. Through our initial investigation weve learned that at 05:46 am an mreg notification was received by the pipeline control center (pcc). The pcc contacted the field to perform a visual observation. The notification was cleared after an operator assessed the area without any findings. A second mreg notification was received at 06:27 am. Because there was ongoing maintenance work in the area, the alarms were initially believed to be attributed to work being performed. The investigation is currently ongoing. Note: an nrc notification was made due to the potential costs meeting the $50,000 threshold (report id 1444995). The costs did not meet that threshold and at the 48-hr update we requested the report be withdrawn (report id 1445129).
