Narrative
At the enterprise beaumont facility on 10-1-25 at 10:45am, control valve cv-11390 had product leaking out from the top and bottom of the valve. The leak was estimated at 6.6 gallons of ethane. While the leaking valve was isolated, other facility piping was used(by-pass piping) to continue facility operations. Repairs began and valve continually monitored until 10-22-25 when it was determined that repairs would exceed the $50k threshold of nrc reporting. The valve is being refurbished prior to being placed back into routine service. Original nrc #1446079, 48-hour update #1446252
