At approximately 11:24, september 20, 2025 the 2nd party trencher struck an unmarked DOT pipeline. At approximately 11:34 september 20, 2025, the 2nd party notified the operator about the incident. The operator representative arrived on site approximately 12:06 to investigate. Operator dispatched vacuum trucks and a backhoe to contain the leak site. The initial thought of the operator was that a produced water line was struck. At approximately 14:10, september 20, 2025 after further investigation, it was discovered that the line that was struck was a DOT transmission pipeline (red raider 16in). At approximately 14:52, september 20, 2025 the pipeline was isolated by closing manual block valve upstream and downstream of the leak site. Pipeline repair was completed on october 10, 2025 and is pending the return to normal operating conditions. Final report is not complete, pending. Corrective action: pending - supplemental report required.
