On 08/28/25 at approximately 10:20, dead vegetation was discovered near the vlc-3 naples to bradley 8-inch line. The pipeline was shut down and valves isolated. The area was excavated and leak was confirmed to be coming from a pinhole on the bottom of the vlc-3 naples to bradley 8-inch line. Approximately 5 barrels of crude oil was released and migrated to a unnamed tributary of roaring creek. An osro cleaned up released product and contaminated soil. A clamp was installed to prevent any further release. The accident is still under investigation. A supplemental report will be submitted once the root cause analysis is completed.
