On 08/13/2025 at approximately 09:00, crude oil was discovered near the vlc-2_bradley terminal to plains 12-inch line. The area was excavated and the leak was confirmed coming from a pinhole. The line was down on schedule at the time of accident. Approximately 1 barrel of crude oil was released. Contractors cleaned up released product and contaminated soil. The leak was initially repaired with a mechanical clamp. The failed section was cut out and is being analyzed by a third party laboratory the accident is still under investigation. A supplemental report will be submitted once the lab failure analysis is completed.
