On july 18, 2025, at 14:06 cst, scada alarms identified a potential release at the arlington tank farm manifold. The pipeline controller immediately notified local arlington personnel on site to investigate. Local personnel identified a half-inch ball valve on a sample line from the manifold was in the partial open position that allowed 19 gallons of gasoline to be released. The valve was immediately shut, stopping the release. An investigation was conducted that included interviews and a review of video surveillance. However, it hasn�t been determined how or when the valve could have been opened. The sample valves and lines have been shut off and plugged from the manifold, and are scjhuled to be removed.
