On 6/12/2025 at approximately 19:00, while preparing for start-up, local operations discovered a crude oil release coming from a butt weld on the 13002 cmar-ctol-16inch line. The line was between delivery points and already shutdown. Approximately 0.5 barrel of crude oil was released. Osros were mobilized to cleanup free product and contaminated soil. The leak was repaired by cutting out the failed below grade section. The section was replaced and rebuilt above grade. The line was started on 6/13/2025 at 11:35. The cause of the leak is still under investigation. The failed section of pipe will be sent to a third party laboratory for analysis. A supplemental report will be submitted once the investigation is complete.
