On 6/11/2025 at approximately 09:30, while operations personnel were onsite excavating for previously planned work, they discovered crude oil weeping from the 13002 cmar-ctol-16inch line. The leak was contained to the excavation site. Approximately 1 barrel of crude oil was released. Released product and contaminated soil was removed from the site. The leak was immediately repaired with a weld reinforcement sleeve and the line was returned to normal service. The failed section of pipe was cutout and replaced on 6/18. The cause of the leak is still under investigation. The failed section of pipe with the reinforcement sleeve will be sent to a third party laboratory for analysis. A supplemental report will be submitted once the investigation is complete.
