On 5/7/2025 at 13:50 a third party notified enterprise that he observed bubbles in a field near the p2 pipeline right-of-way. Enterprise shut down the pipeline at 14:00 as a safety precaution and sent a technician to the site, who confirmed the presence of lel and also observed a small amount of diesel. Confirmed discovery was at 15:06. The incident was reported to the nrc due to repair costs expected to exceed $50,000. Metallurgical analysis confirmed a seam failure due to a lack of fusion defect. Enterprise shut down the pipeline at 14:00 as a safety precaution and sent a technician to the site, who confirmed the presence of lel and also observed a small amount of diesel.
