Narrative
On 4/29/2025 at approximately 17:00 edt a third party notified enterprise that a tree had fallen on the bonnie brook mainline valve site. An enterprise technician went to the site to evaluate the damage, and no lel were detected at that time. Daily monitoring was performed after the initial report, however, no lel were detected until 5/6/2025 at 16:11 edt. The line was shut down at 18:04 as a safety precaution. On 5/7/2025 the determination was made that the incident was nrc reportable due to repair costs that would exceed $50,000. The valve was repaired and the line returned to service on 5/10/2025 at 15:30. Nrc #1430475 48-hour update #1430631
