During tx-189 recommissioning activities, a leak of isobutane was discovered due to a failed bleeder valve. The exxonmobil pipeline team was able to safely isolate this leak without injuries or impacts to the community. During the event, approximately 57.96 lbs. (0.3 bbl.) of isobutane were released.
