At approximately 10:45 on 4/28/25 the sioux falls operations supervisor was contacted about a possible leak at the sioux falls south interface detector site. At approximately 11:00 personnel arrived onsite and identified the leak coming from the body weep hole on the ifd. At 11:16 an absorbent was secured around the leak and a tub placed below to provide additional containment. At 12:23 the block valve at mp344 was closed. At 13:18 the block valve at mp333 was closed. At approximately 14:20 pressure had been bled off the isolated line section, stopping the release. Upon further examination it was discovered an o-ring in the body of the interface detector failed allowing product to seep past. The interface detector was removed from the flange and a blind installed in its place.
