Narrative
On 3/24/202 at 5:14 pm cst enterprise pipeline operator discovered a crude oil release on bypass pipeline at sealy station. The leak was immediately isolated. Approximately 0.48 barrels of crude oil was released. Upon further investigation, it was determined that internal corrosion from microbiological growth caused the crude oil release. The bypass line has been repaired and put back into service.
