On 7/29/2025 at approximately 18:06 texas gas transmission's gas control received a call reporting a potential gas leak near its midland gas storage field well 16760. Operations personnel were dispatched. The leak was confirmed and isolated which shut-in the well. The chiksan fitting was lubricated and the facility was returned to service.
