On 7/25/2025 at 8:24 am cst, a third party noticed bubbles in a water area near the chico c pipeline row and contacted acadian gas pipeline (acadian). Acadian pipeline technician discovered lel from the bubbles in the row and proceeded to make notifications. It was determined that an existing pipeline clamp had a small leak around the seal area. A stopple by-pass was installed, and a section of mainline pipe was removed and replaced eliminating the clamp. Acadian determined the event to be reportable at 8:45 am on 7/28/2025 due to the anticipated repair cost exceeding $149,700 resulting in immediate notification to nrc at 9:31 am. The ldenr was notified on 7/25/2025 at 9:24 am. The leak investigation determined seal failure on the pipeline clamp. Section e question 6 requires a whole number to input to complete the report. There was not a number of feet isolated for this event and should be zero entered in this cell.
