On may 28, 2025, at 8:22 p.M. An on-call pipeline tech with energy transfer company (etc) received an alarm lolo compressor oil indicating that the compressor, garrison draw unit 5 # 2777 USA compressor was shut down. At about 8:30 p.M. While enroute to the compressor station the tech witnessed a fire that was possibly located at the garrison draw compressor station. The tech then notified the operations supervisor, who then notified the fire department. Then the tech began shutting in meter run valves sending natural gas to the compressor station. At 8:40 p.M. The pipeline tech arrived at the compressor station and confirmed the fire was on etc's garrison draw unit 5. The fire department was already on scene at that time. The pipeline tech then isolated garrison draw. The fire was out at 9:30 p.M. On may 29, 2025, the station was returned to service without unit 5 at 2:49 a.M. Nrc notification was made at 12:51 p.M. May 29, 2025. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
