On tuesday, april 29, 2025, a motor grader operator working for laurens county public works department, struck the 12' sng brunswick line at mp 58.811 while cutting the ditches on a dirt road named clyde thomas road. Km received an emergency one-call ticket notification at approximately 2:19 pm. There was a release of gas. No fire or injury. Timely notifications were made to nrc hotline as well as georgia epd. Gas control contacted 911 at 3:05 pm. The estimated gas loss was 4,288mcf. The laurens county fire department responded.
