Narrative
Big lake unit#1 had a failed power supply causing a communication failure. The lost communication and tripped the suction alarm. The unit vent valve is a fail open type. The vent valve opened; however, the suction and discharge valves are controlled by the turbine unit plc. The valves are a fail in last state, so that without power when they failed open causing a release of natural gas.
