Narrative
At approximately 1051 on 01/24/25, operations received a call from a 3rd party reporting bubbles in the area near the sea robin 319b-2400 in south timbalier 151 (st 151). Nrc was called reporting the bubbles in st151 (nrc#1421791, 48hr update#1421896). An overflight was conducted to verify the location of the bubbles. Pipeline was isolated on 01/24/25 at 1330. Overflights were conducted daily to monitor the area for any changes as weather permitted. Due to weather conditions, sea states and dsv availability, the repair contractor was not able to deploy until 4/24/25. Divers verified leak location on 04/25/25 at 0215 on the sea robin 319b-2400 pipeline. An attempt was made to repair the leak location. The repair was not completed due to the clamp not sealing. A specialized clamp is on order. The pipeline remains isolated until the clamp can be installed. The 48hr nrc notification was updated on 04/25/25 at 0859 to reflect the change from unknown owner to sea robin pipeline. (#1429408)
