Narrative
On 4-20-2025 at 10:51 an oneok operator received a 911 notification of a possible fire. The operator investigated and verified a fire had occurred at the ngpl (kinder morgan) setting, which interconnects with the oneok m-line. Notifications were immediately made to local supervisor, manager and pcc. Local ops were dispatched to block valve settings at the oneok vici and mutual sites to isolate the impacted section of the m-line. Both settings were isolated. Sharon and mutual fire department assisted in blocking 2160rd at the north mile line 53rd and south mile line 54 rd. No houses were evacuated. Fire was contained to approximately one acre of wheat stubble. Oneok made the determination an nrc needed to be filed at 21:30hrs. Oneok was unable to make the determination of the impact to its piping system earlier due to the accessibility to the site. The fire at oneok/ngpl connection self-extinguished at 22:10hrs
