A thunderstorm event caused lightning to strike residential home and then hit the company's natural gas meter located outside of 4405 appletree court st. Joseph mo. The escaping natural gas caught fire which resulted in additional damage to the home. A 48-hour update to the nrc was made on june 10, 2024 at 8:40 am - report number 1401394. Supplemental report has been updated to reflect the correct event times.
