Narrative
On the morning of july 16th, 2025, there was inclement weather in the area. Gas control notified local operations of a high-pressure alarm at k.P. Station. Local operations were dispatched to the scene where they came upon an ignition event at the station. Operations contacted gas control to isolate the outlet of the station and the local fire department. The supplier was contacted to shut in the inlet tap of the station. Fire was allowed to burn out, and once site was deemed safe, investigation and repairs began. The damaged run of the station was locked out. The station was brought back into service using the undamaged run. Repair completed and station put back in service.
