Narrative
Ameren illinois responded to an explosion on 2/22/25 at 7450 w macon, decatur il. Ameren illinois personnel performed a thorough on-site investigation. The regulator, meter set, and metering index were consumed by the fire and unable to be tested. Ameren illinois will provide a supplemental report upon receipt of the state fire marshal's investigation results, however, in the interim, there were no indications that the explosion was related to a jurisdictional release. Ameren illinois personnel immediately reported the event to the illinois commerce commission office of pipeline safety.
