Narrative
At around 06:58 on february 20, 2025, ugi received internal electronic, non-scada, low-pressure alerts at multiple local district regulator stations near blossburg pennsylvania. At 12:33, two valves were shut off, stopping the flow of gas to the line break. It was discovered that a weld joint separated on ugi's hpdl right-of-way within a state forest. In response to this incident, a 6-mile stretch of main has been isolated and abandoned. Ugi is conducting an ongoing investigation. Costs are still being calculated and remain $0 until final amounts can be compiled. A generic date has been entered for part e 3.B 'date maop established' because the date is unknown. A supplemental report shall be submitted once the cause has been confirmed and costs are finalized.
