Narrative
According to reports, fire started at aglc's meter and extended up the side of the house and the fire extended across the attic. Initial investigation revealed that thursday (02/13/2025) early am just after midnight a bad lightning storm came through this neighborhood. It appears that the meter had a small fire that melted the service and the gas from the service started leaking and ignited. This fire extended up the side of the structure and across the attic. Aglc initially notified the national response center (nrc) under nrc report number 1423569. Additional nrc report number 1423700 was created for the same event after a supplemental call was placed with the nrc to update the initial telephonic notice.
