Narrative
On november 4, 2024, a 35-gallon release of jet fuel was discovered within the glenpool tank farm station manifold. The release was totally contained on the property. On november 5, 2024, it was determined that the cost to manually excavate and hydro excavate the impacted area would exceed $50,000. Therefore, a notification was provided to the natural response center. Following the excavation of the impacted area within the statin manifold, a flanged connection not indicated on station drawings was identified. The final soil analysis indicated a total release was 71.70-gallons or 1.70-barrels. All petroleum impacted soil was properly managed and properly disposed.
