On 10/15/2024 at approximately 03:05, a pipeline tech found a crude oil leak at sour lake station near the east texas 10-inch scraper trap. The line was shut down and the segment isolated. The area was excavated, and the leak was identified coming from a pin hole at the 6 o'clock position on 21003.02 10-inch sour lake to warren line. Approximately 2 barrels of crude oil was released into the ground. Cleanup contractor removed free product and contaminated soil. The line was repaired with a clamp, pressure tested and restarted. Planning to eliminate the failed pipe segment to prevent reoccurrence.
