On 10/15/24 at approximately 17:25, a 2nd party row mowing contractor struck the 21004.04 - goodrich to houston terminal 10-inch line. The control center immediately shut down the origin pump and remote operated valves, while field personnel closed the upstream and downstream manual valves. Field personnel started digging trenches, building dams and putting absorbent boom out to slow down the release until more resources arrived. Approximately 472 barrels of crude oil was released. Company personnel and osro were mobilized to contain and recover released product. On 10/16/14 at approximately 14:15, a plidco clamp was installed and at 15:32, the line was restarted.
