Narrative
On september 26, 2024, at 23:30 central time, houston control center (hcc) received an esd alarm at the dixie stegall pump station. Hcc dispatched a field technician to investigate the alarm. The company employee arrived on site at 01:01 and determined the injection filter vessel was leaking from the door seal. The vessel was isolated and bled down immediately eliminating the leak. An investigation of the door seal indicated an o-ring seal had separated and failed. A new o-ring seal was installed, and the vessel was returned to service. Revised part c5 from carbon steel with material other than carbon steel specifying fluorine kautschuk material (fkm).
