Narrative
On 09/11/24 at approximately 10:45 am, crude oil was discovered at the meter skid located inside of the centurion halley station. The meter skid was isolated and c20010 - halley to wink 10-inch line was shut down. Leak was determined to be coming from meter skid drain line due to a faulty check valve. Approximately 1.6 barrels of crude oil was released. Released product was cleaned up and impacted soil was remediated. To prevent immediate reoccurrence the 2-inch meter valve and 2-inch check valve were replaced. An additional redundant valve will be installed on the meter skid to align with current company design standards and prevent future reoccurrence.
