On september 12, 2024, at approximately 10:55 a.M. A western midstream employee observed a leak coming from a 10-inch pig trap receiver. Western midstream senior field operations employee then dispatched pipeline field personal at 11:01 a.M. And confirmed crude oil release at 11:30 a.M. On september 12, 2024, at approximately 11:35 a.M. Operations stopped the leak. The release did not result in any injuries or major damages. This event was determined as a reportable accident due to crude oil release greater than 5 gallons.
