On 08/25/24 at 12:30, crude oil was discovered on the ground at jal station. Crude oil was also found on top of the external floating roof. It was determined the crude oil was coming from the roof drain line of tank 7302. Tank's roof drain was closed and the tank was isolated. Approximately 2.5 barrels of crude oil was released into containment. Cleanup crews removed product and remediated contaminated soil. The cause of the accident is pending an ongoing investigation. A supplemental report will be submitted once completed.
