On 7/31/2024 at 13:40, operator personnel, performing a routine station check identified a crude oil release in the area near the sump. Additional emergency response personnel arrived on-site and began investigation into the source of the below ground release. The source originated on the 2" diameter sump discharge piping. The one barrel of product that was released was fully contained on operator property and will be remediated on-site. Upon inspection, the release cause was identified as internal corrosion at the 6:00 position. The piping was repaired within 24 hours.
