Narrative
On 7/22/2024 at 16:00 cdt, enterprise pipeline technician, during station rounds, discovered oily water discharging from tank #1001 at thistle 44 station. It was determined that crude oil was coming from the roof drain of the tank due to a pinhole in the drain line; approximately 0.1 barrel of crude oil spilled into tank berm. The tank was isolated, and product cleaned up. Tank had temporary external drain installed and returned to service; a new roof drain hose will be installed.
