Before the event processed solid free oil was being pumped in the pipeline going to sp 69 (pipeline segment 10268) when the air reconnaissance plane spotted a sheen. The sheen was coming up below the water line on a slow, consistent basis. Qualifying statements the situation is currently being monitored. (location: lat. N 2903.65, lon. W 8858.097). The total volume has not been determined and the release is slowly decreasing. Estimates of total volume are roughly: monday 7-15-24 = 82 gallons tuesday 7-16-24 = 12 barrels or 504 gallons. These totals reflects 60% water ratio.
