On 6/27/2024 at 07:28 cdst, nort port arthur operations personnel reported the smell of gasoline. Upon further investigation of the facility, the facility prover was discovered to be leaking. In response, the prover was isolated and the release was contained onsite. At 09:14 cdst the same day, it was determined via conference call that repair and cleanup of the release would exceed $50k. It is estimated 15 barrels of gasoline were released and have been recovered. Cause of accident was determined to be the manufacturer design.
