On 6 june 2025 at 15:45, an employee observed stained gravel at the columbia station in the vicinity of the line 1 station discharge valve. Additional investigation using absorbent material confirmed the presence of product. Notification and response activities were initiated and contractors arrived on scene that evening. On 7 june excavation revealed a small sweat at the line 1 discharge check valve.(valve cover). The checkvalve o-ring was replaced on 11 june with no further issues. The volume of product released in this event is non-reportable, however, the cost of the response, cleanup and repair exceed the $50k reporting threshold.
