On 5/28/2024 at 16:30, operator technicians noticed an ice ball from a valve stem packing leak and started repairing it. When the leak was not able to be repaired, he notified the supervisor. Operations then notified pipeline control. Ert and local responders were notified and the road was closed as a precaution. Release was determined reportable at 21:45 due to the cost of repair. Rrc accident #3101 reported 5/28/2024 at 22:04.
