Narrative
On 5/18/2024 at 7:30 am cst enterprise pipeline operator discovered a crude oil release on a prover drain line at echo terminal. It is estimated 1 barrel of crude oil spilled on the ground. The leak was isolated and area remediated. Upon further investigation, it was determined that internal corrosion was the cause of the crude oil release. The line will remain isolated and out of service.
