Narrative
The columbus compressor station, station fuel gas blowdown valve (bdv-4117) unintentionally opened at 01:34am on 9/18/2024. When the technician arrived onsite he closed the valve. The solenoid coil on solenoid valve (sv-4117) was found to be faulty so it was replaced with a new solenoid valve and coil. The facility restarted at 12:21pm et on 9/18/2024. The incident is currently under investigation so a supplemental report will be forthcoming once the investigation is complete.

Narrative
