A planned esd was conducted to depressurize the station for maintenance and valve repairs. During the esd, the discharge side gate valves operated as intended, but suction side gate valve #43 did not fully close, only partially closing. While attempting to close the valve, the gas loss exceeded the allowable non-reporting limit of 3,000 mcf, ultimately reaching 28,956 mcf once the esd and blow-off valves were closed. An investigation will be conducted to determine why valve #43 did not function properly.
