On thursday, may 9th, williams called the nrc to report an incident on line 2443 in the northwest pipeline system near mp 112.5 in wolf creek, oregon. Original nrc# 1398534. The incident occurred during the removal of coating on the pipeline while completing an exploratory dig based on an ili run. Cause of the leak is currently under investigation. The leak was temporarily remediated with a plidco leak clamp. There is a pressure reduction on the line since the onset of the digs. Considered reportable due to an approximate cost to repair of $200,000. Permanent repair by cut out is expected to be completed june 15th.
