Narrative
On 4-03-2024, sua received a low-pressure customer complaint from a rural extension (re)-277 near rover, arkansas. A technician was dispatched immediately, upon investigation found a foreign liquid in the customer's service line and house piping. The system has 31 total customers (22 active residential, 7 commercial and 2 inactive residential). It was determined that energy transfer, the pipeline supplier to the ldc, had been performing an inline inspection of the pipeline that serves (re)-277. Part of that process included injecting several thousand gallons of diesel fuel both in front of and behind the inspection tool. Energy transfer stated that they had failed to close off a valve to the ldc station and had inadvertently pushed diesel fuel out of their system into the sua distribution system. Additional details of energy transfer's process or gas handling plan are not available for inclusion in this report. 6-24-2025 supplemental report: updated part d. All impacted facilities were repaired or replaced prior to being returned to service
