Narrative
At approximately 10:40 am, an operator was making routine rounds and located a stain on a tank ring. The operator called and had the tank isolated. It was determined that the tank be taken out of service for repair and then be returned to service once repairs are made. The release volume was below reportable criteria but the cost of release will exceed the $50,000 threshold for a written report. After investigating, it was determined that a weld defect was the cause it was repaired.
