On 10/13/2023 at 16:22 cdst, operations were working in the area of the 30'' prover at the beaumont terminal when they began to smell crude oil. Upon further investigation, product was found pooling on the ground below the prover door. All movements were shut down and the prover was isolated. An estimated 4 bbls of crude oil were released and have since been cleaned up. After investigation, it was determined that the prover door failure was due to incorrect installation.
