On october 10th, 2023 at approximately 13:30 a contractor performing work at the shinn pence tank farm noticed the smell of crude oil and informed local operations personnel. Operations personnel immediately investigated and discovered product leaking from a gasket on a relief line blind. Upon discovery, operations closed the manual valve which isolated the leaking flange and clean-up activities were initiated. Further investigation determined the gasket failed due to normal wear. To prevent a re-occurrence, the gasket was replaced. Supplemental/final (12/2023): additional sentence in part h
