On 07/31/2023 at approximately 17:00, the field boat captain returning from a routine run to the dock noticed oil/sheen on the water on the right side of the canal almost to central facility livilng quarters. Notified field foreman and lead operator. Upon investigating, found the 8" bulk line from p&q facility to central facility developed a leak. Block valves were isolated on each end of the 8" bulk line.
