Narrative description: on 7/7/23 at 15:45, sfpp imperial (PHMSA opid 18092) the shift operator was making rounds and identified product being released from tank ip-16 fill line. Product was coming from a crack at the nipple of a 1" prv (pressure relief system) return line and the tank fill line. The volume released was 26 bbls of jet. Cal state notifications were made and the osro responded to the site. The tank was emptied of the necessary product volume and the leak stopped at 13:00 7/8/23. Repairs were completed and system returned to normal operations at 15:45. 4/11/2024 update: this supplemental final report is being submitted to include updated cause information. Nrc control numbers: initial nrc - non PHMSA criteria - 1372428 update nrc - PHMSA 50k criteria - 1376160 48hr update nrc - 1376321
