On 6/7/2023 at approximately 08:00, during a station check, a pipeline tech discovered oil-staining around piping at idled kilgore station. An investigation determined a leaking flange released 0.24 barrels of crude oil. Contaminated soil was removed and staged for land farming. Leak repaired by replacing gasket. The pipeline was drained down and blinds put in place to remove further possibilities of leaking. Ensured no residual product remained in the line to prevent reoccurrence.
