On 6/2/23, while test-running a pump after replacing a seal, the shaft broke causing a minor seal failure. Employees were onsite during the restart and immediately noticed the leak. At that time, the operation was shut down and absorbent pads were deployed. Isolation happened quickly, minimizing the release of crude oil.
